Baer Amplification LLC:  Roger Baer

AudioKinesis:  Duke LeJeune

AudioKinesis makes bass cabs, high-end home audio speakers, and custom studio monitors.  Our bass cabs come in two general varieties: “Hi-Fi”, and “deliberately voiced to sit well in the mix.”  We pay a lot of attention to radiation patterns, that being an area where unamplified acoustic instruments greatly outperform typical speakers-in-a-box.  A fairly wide and fairly uniform radiation pattern allows more of the audience to clearly hear what the bass player is doing, which matters because the bass player’s the one who lays down the groove.

Many of our cabs make it easier for the bass player to hear his/her overtones, and some of our cabs even let the drummer hear what the bass player is doing.  Most of our cabs are unusually adjustable which can be helpful in less-than-ideal rooms.  We are a small company and our rather unorthodox cabs are made to order, so there is some waiting involved, but not as much as for a premium bass.
