Adam Nitti has been establishing his own voice as a bassist and recording artist for over two decades. He has released five solo albums to date on his own Renaissance Man label which have drawn international acclaim. His experience as a session bassist and sideman has resulted in his working on hundreds of projects across different genres, including performances on several Grammy-winning and Grammy-nominated albums. Adam has performed and recorded with a diverse collection of artists, including: Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald, Carrie Underwood, the Dave Weckl Band, Christopher Cross, Susan Tedeschi, Jeff Coffin Mu’tet, Brent Mason, T Lavitz, Jimmy Herring, Scott Henderson, Heather Headley, Mike Stern, Wayne Krantz, Joe Beck, and many others.
Adam’s passion for the bass guitar has been matched in recent years by his passion for sharing musical knowledge.
In 2012, he launched AdamNittiMusicEducation.com, a membership-based online academy for bass guitar. Adam is also an adjunct faculty member of Belmont University’s School of Music and the Atlanta Institute of Music. He is a bass clinician for Ibanez Basses, Aguilar Amplifiers, and D’Addario Strings, and is also a staff instructor for both Victor Wooten’s “Wooten Woods” music camps and Gerald Veasley’s “Bass Boot Camps.” Adam is a former columnist for Bass Player magazine and Bass Musician Magazine, and has performed and taught at bass events all over the world.
